Q: What is Condom Pumping?
A: Condom pumping is a technique used by men who are trying to increase the size of their penis through the use of a penis pump, which creates a vacuum, while they are wearing either one or two condoms.
Benefits of Condom Pumping
One of the benefits of pumping with the help of a condom, versus pumping without wearing a condom, is the ring of the condom acts like an erection ring and keeps the blood flow trapped inside of the penis, making it larger. Another reason men choose to use a condom while pumping is to reduce the heating of the penis' skin while pumping on high pressures. The condom acts as a sort of heat barrier during the pumping process.
Pumping enthusiasts have also mentioned wearing a thick condom or two thin condoms while pumping can help to keep tunica pore sizes down during enlargement, but Condom Depot never recommends wearing two condoms during sex. Minimizing the size of their pores makes it less obvious to others that an enlargement pump has been recently used, because this is one of the most common side effects from using a pump. Advocates of condom pumping claim this method works for them, and report increased penis sizes afterwards, even while flaccid.
Another method of protecting the appearance and temperature of the penis during pumping is to wrap the penis in an ace bandage prior to pump insertion. Pumpers who have complained – saying pressure inside the tube isn't the same, and that it's a less comfortable way to pump – have switched over to condoms for defending their delicate penile skin. The reason why condoms are more suitable to pumping than a bandage is because condoms expand with the penis, instead of constricting it after an increase in size.
How does Condom Pumping Work?
The physics of a penis enlargement pump (PEP) is quite simple. A penis is inserted into a cylindrical tube (to the base of your penis, near pubic hair), then a manual or battery powered pump creates a partial vacuum around the penis. This causes blood to be drawn into the penis, which causes it to engorge. Excessive pumping can cause permanent damage to the penis if blood vessels burst, or it draws blood, causing blisters to form. This is what men are trying to prevent by practicing condom pumping.
PEP can be prescribed as a medical device for those who suffer from Peyronie’s disease. People commonly refer to this condition as a “broken” penis, because it resembles a broken bone. Men with Peyronie’s have a normal functional penis until one day their penis becomes extremely curved and shortened and usually impotent. The Institute of Urology in London found, "significant improvement in penile length, angle of curvature, and pain after 12 weeks of vacuum pump use," for men who were stricken with Peyronie’s disease.
Using pumps for penis enlargement recreationally is an experimental and highly personal choice and can lead to injury, so if you already use a PEP, or you plan on starting a PEP regime, please use it with the utmost caution. Experts say to start at a very low intensity pressure and to build up over time to see results. When choosing a penis pump, there are plenty of options to consider, such as penis pump costs, electric pump vs. manual pump, etc. Multiple varieties of PEPs are available for purchase at CondomDepot.com.
The outcome of pumping is not permanent, but can lead to some short-term gain in both length and width which can be a source of short term psychological satisfaction. Condom pumpers can temporarily increase their size by pumping, removing the condom and putting on an erection ring, or constriction ring, to trap blood in the penis. Of course, we suggest putting another condom on, such as Crown's Skinless Skin prior to penetration of any kind.
