Trojan ENZ are kind of your average Trojan condom. They’re average length, average shape and don't have any bells and whistles. Still, if you’re in a pinch or you don’t know what you like and just need something to keep you safe, they’re a great option.

The lube is water-based, although the packaging labels it as being a jelly-like water-based lube or something. Look, it doesn’t last very long. Water-based lube gets absorbed really easily and this guy wasn’t very slick after I’d managed to finagle him on to my boyfriend’s package. We had to add some WET Naturals Beautifully Bare to improve our experience.

Which, by the way, was pretty tight. These guys run at 7.62” x 2”. If you’re girthier like my dude, they aren’t for you. But if you’re a little on the longer side and you’re pretty skinny, they might be a worthwhile option. For us, the friction and tightness proved to be a little too much and the condom we were trying broke.

In terms of smell, they do have that stinky latex flavor, but it’s not super noticeable. It doesn’t really stick to your hands like some brands, and it’s only a problem if you’re using these condoms for oral sex.

One thing these condoms do really well? They’re super soft. I don’t know if it’s from this mysterious jelly-infused water-based lube or what, but I am honestly just sitting here, fondling this condom. It’s pretty thin for your average condom, and the latex is absurdly soft, almost close to the Lifestyles SKYN. The softness could help distract from the smell if you’re using this condom for oral.

Final Verdict:

Our customer reviews are pretty mixed. For those who fit into the Trojan ENZ, the reaction was pleasant, but not really ecstatic. For those who were either a little too big or perhaps didn’t use enough lube, there’s a lot of complaints about breakage for this particular condom.
