There’s something really pleasant about non-lubricated condoms to me. Now, I love lube, but Trojan’s ENZ Non-Lubricated condoms just feel fresh and clean to me.

2023 UPDATE: We no longer carry Trojan ENZ Non Lubricated condoms. Check out the rest of our dry condoms

As you can tell by the name, these are basically the non-lubricated version of Trojan ENZ condoms, which are kind of Trojan’s most basic condom. There’s no ribs or studs, no fancy tastes, scents, glowing control panels, lasers, or spinning robot hands. They’re just your traditional condom, with a straight fit and reservoir tip. But sometimes, that’s all you need. No reason to get caught up in something fancy. A simple barrier gets the job done and does it well.

I previously reviewed the LifeStyles Non-Lubricated condom as well. In all honesty, there’s very little difference between this condom and that one. The LifeStyles version is only a fraction of an inch longer, and an even tinier fraction of an inch tighter. So if you tried those after my stunning review and found them to be a little restrictive, these might be a better bet. Just remember, if you want to keep it going well, you’ll need to add some kind of lube to keep the condom from breaking. Since they’re latex, oils are a no no. Silicone-based lubes are hypoallergenic for those out there with previous lube issues. I'd recommend giving them a shot.

Like most non-lubricated condoms, the Trojan ENZ Non-Lubricated comes with a soft powder on it. This keeps the latex fresh and prevents it from rubbing against itself, creating harmful friction that could make the condom more prone to rips and tears.

The best thing about non-lubricated condoms though? You can supply your own lube. We tried this out with every non-oil-based lube under the sun-- flavored (our new favorite, WET Delights Frosted Cupcake flavored lube), silicone (WET Platinum silicone based lube, you know you're my main squeeze), and even aloe (System JO Naturalove Organic lube, I love you too). Everything worked great.

If you have a lube allergy, these condoms will be your new best friend. And even if you don't there's a hundred reasons why you should use non-lubricated condoms. Now if only someone could make non-latex, non-lubricated condoms, we’d be all set.

One thing to note: these condoms previously came in a blue box with a blue wrapper. They now come in a red box, but have the same blue wrapper. So if you open your box and get something you weren't expecting, don't worry. It's still the same condom you know and love.

Overall Rating: 4 Stars

Final Verdict

Non-lubricated condoms are not only great for people with lube allergies. They're also great for people who just want to maximize the use of their own favorite lube. While the Trojan ENZ Non-Lubricated might be pretty straight forward, it's a fine example of a non-lubricated condom.
