Lifestyles SKYN Announcement- Wrapper Change
Over the last couple of weeks, we have been getting a ton of emails asking us where our SKYN Large stock was, and to be completely honest, we didn’t really know.
Our contact at Lifestyles didn't have any new info, and our shipment was just not arriving. Which meant that we could not longer stock them on the site if we didn’t know if we were getting any more in.
But SKYN lovers, now is not the time to hyperventilate. We have great news.
Lifestyles was simply changing their wrappers-- and boy, don't they look better than ever? But the Larges aren't the only ones to get in on the action. Lifestyles' normal SKYNs is also looking ready for a black tie affair.
When we first received our samples, the marketing staff here at Condom Depot wondered if these were actually the same polyisoprene condoms that we’d come to know and love, or rich, luscious Godiva chocolates. Because damn, that wrapper is classy! No longer does it seem like SKYN is trying to channel Trojan's Magnum line with their black-on-gold design. Now, it feels more like they're branching out on their own, and the results couldn't be sexier.
Don't worry-- these are still the same SKYN condoms that you've come to love over the years. They are still made of latex-feee, polyisoprene that gives you that softer-than-skin feeling and transfers heat and intimacy. They still have the same, silky-soft lube that you've come to love. But now, they have an awesome wrapper to match those top-notch qualities you can't live without.
Unfortunately, there is only a slight flaw in the new design-- the SKYN Larges do not say that they are large, except for in small print on the back. You can, however, tell the difference between them and the normal SKYN by looking at the colors. While the normal-sized SKYN condoms also have wrappers, theirs are a classic, solid, matte black with gold writing.
The SKYN Larges, on the other hand, are more of a brown and the top and bottoms of each condom wrapper have an ombre of dusky orange. Also, if you flip each wrapper over to the gold side, you’ll find that the normal SKYNs say, “ORIGINAL,” right in the middle, whereas the larges say, “LARGE, GRAND FORMAT.”
As a reminder, these SKYNs are about as close to latex as you can get without being actual latex. That means that you shouldn’t use them with an oil-based lube because they will degrade; however, they are safe to be used with both water and silicone-based lubes.
