Lube Review: ID Millennium

Lube Review: ID Millennium

3 minute read

Having reviewed only one other ID brand lube, ID Pleasure way back in 2014, my partner and I eagerly awaited getting our hands (among other things) on their pure silicone formula called ID Millennium.

If your sexual education classes are/were as lax as mine, you may think silicone is bad for latex and non-latex condoms. Nope! That’s just a condom myth. In reality, silicone lubes make condoms even safer by reducing the heat caused by friction, thereby protecting against breakage.

In fact, most of my favorite condoms are already lighted coated with a thin layer of silicone-based lubricants. Why? No hidden sugars and less evaporation. For the complete list check out, "Our Top Ten Silicone-Lubricated Condoms." This Millennial can’t wait to add even more slipperiness to the mix!

Just be sure to avoid using silicone on silicone, like in the event of a vibrating ring, etc. getting thrown into the mix.

Ingredients in ID Millennium: cyclomethicone, dimethicone, dimethiconol

OK, now that’s out of the way. Onto the juicy stuff… literally! For our test run we went with a new Trojan Magnum BareSkin condom. A few drops into the reservoir area before unrolling, a few more on the outside.

These tiny, piddly lil drops slathered on like a handful of silky, clear conditioner. It was simple to smoothly coat the condom to simulate the feeling of gliding along the vaginal canal's natural moisture.

All in all, a total of 5-6 drops was enough to do us right throughout the entire session. With no need to reapply it’s a waste not want not situation, meaning it's a better bang for your buck than our staff's former fav Pjur Original Bodyglide

As I'd hoped, the three simple ingredients made safer sex more exciting while reducing risk. The sensations were smashing and no rash, clogged pores or yeast infections followed. Plus, the black, 4.4oz flip top bottle is subtle looking enough you get away with leaving it out.

But yes, it does have one small downside. Like all other silicone-based lubes, some reckless romping resulted in some stained fabrics. But when you’re this sexually satisfied, who cares?

Overall Rating: 5 Stars

Final Verdict:

Like the Millennium Falcon, ID Millennium lubricant is beyond long-lasting and up for any job. With just three ingredients this condom-safe, simply silicone sex lube is non-irritating, fragrance-free and suitable for fapping, vaginal and/or anal entry.
