Bulk Pack vs Retail Box
If you’re cruising the Condom Depot site, you may notice something peculiar: we sell condoms in both retail and bulk packs. So just what does that mean? And more importantly, which one saves you more money? What is the difference between bulk pack vs. retail box?
It all comes down to how many condoms you need and how much you're willing to pay for them.
Retail Box
Retail packs are exactly what you would see when you go to buy condoms at your local store. They typically come in three, twelve, or thirty-six counts, and they come in boxes, like pictured above.
Why should you get retail boxes? Retail boxes are great if you really like boxes. Seriously. That's the only difference from our bulk packs-- they come in a box. Usually, because they come in these boxes, they are more expensive. As you can see on the image above, a retail box or 36 costs more than a bulk pack of 54.
Bulk Packs
Condom Depot is a FDA-certified repackaging facility. That means we are allowed to break down much larger cases of condoms, repackage them into heat-sealed containers, and sell them. These condoms are never removed from their wrappers nor tampered with during this process.
This is the same process that we go through when making our Condom Depot Samplers, by the way, and they look very similar to our samplers.
Why should you buy bulk packs? They are way cheaper and usually come in far more varied counts than retail boxes. We sell bulk packs in 12, 24, 54, 102, 252, and 504 counts, all of the same condom. This means that you end up paying way less money for way more condoms. And who doesn't want that?
If you like the look and cost of bulk packs but want more variety, try looking at our sampler packs instead.
Cases
Sometimes, you may see us offering cases on certain products. If it's being offered on the Condom Depot site, don't worry-- anyone can buy them! Our wholesale products are sold on an entirely different site. So if you want to buy a case of 3,000 condoms and it's on our website? Go nuts! These condoms are in free-floating strips in a box roughly the size of two shoe boxes together. Cases of condoms are a lot smaller than you'd think, and are packed to the brim with prophylactic goodness.
This includes our clearance condoms!
